Get on the leaderboard
The game, reliability, and visibility requirements for appearing on a board.
1. Qualify for a rating board
National, city, and global rating boards currently require at least 10 rated games in the selected format, plus a sufficiently reliable rating. Singles and doubles qualify separately.
Keep playing to maintain reliability. After time away, the system becomes less certain about your rating, so meeting the game minimum alone does not guarantee a place on the board.
You must also have played within the selected period. For example, a weekly rating board includes eligible players active that week.
2. Check your profile settings
Keep your profile public and leaderboard visibility enabled. Profiles hidden from leaderboards do not appear, even if their game count and rating qualify.
Check your country for the national board. City boards require city visibility, and age or gender divisions require matching profile information. Creating an account by itself does not put you on a leaderboard.
3. Club leaderboard rules
Club rating boards use the club's own minimum game count. They count completed games in the selected format at that club since its leaderboard reset, if it has one.
You need to be a member of the club. The club can choose whether guest-tier members are ranked and can exclude players from its board. Ask the organizer about the requirements for that club.
4. Wins and points boards
Wins and season-points boards use activity rather than the rating board's game and reliability minimum. Outside club boards, you need a recorded win to appear on a wins board, or points to appear on a points board, in the selected format and period.
A club's wins board includes members who played in the selected period even if they have no wins yet. Profile visibility, division, scope, and club exclusion rules still apply.
